BDS LDSRCS Dip Implant Dent RCS Eng Advanced Cert in Implant Dentistry FGDP (UK) GDC Registered Specialist in Oral Surgery

Dr. Philip Hayter qualified from University College Hospital, London, in 1990 after which he joined a well-established family practice in Southend-on-Sea, Essex where he gained several years’ experience in General Dental Practice.

In 1995, in partnership with Sanjay Chopra, Philip established the Highland View Dental Surgeries two private specialist referral centres in Essex offering Implants, Oral Surgery and Sedation.

Philip is on the General Dental Council’s Specialist Register for Oral Surgery. He was amongst the first delegates to complete the FGDP Diploma and Advanced Certificate in Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in 2004, and is now Tutor and Lecturer and on this course, and has been appointed Examiner for the new Implant Diploma at The Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Dr. Hayter is also an experienced SAAD trained sedationist, and member of The Dental Teachers Sedation Group, undertaking the full range of implant and surgical treatment under both local anaesthesia and IV sedation.
